Privacy Policy Update for Publishers

A privacy policy page (PPP) outlines how a website collects, uses, shares, and sells the personal information of its users. Because you run programmatic advertising through Monumetric, your site collects personal information from users (via cookies, for example), and therefore, a privacy policy in most jurisdictions is required.

In addition to this basic guideline, Monumetric has ad providers who require PPPs before they will serve ads on your site. These providers have bots that scan website pages looking for the PPP and not having the PPP live negatively impacts your revenue potential.

Even if you aren’t subject to privacy policy laws, being transparent with users about how you collect and handle their data is the best business practice in today’s digital world. With the industry changing it’s also important to adapt and change with it so that advertisers can continue to buy inventory on your site. Learn more here.

If you do not have a PPP on your website, we politely ask that you put one there.

If you do have a PPP on the site, please add the below snippet in order to maximize your earnings:
