Under the Tools Section of the Console, you will find a tab called “Exclusion URLs.” This is a very convenient way to block ads temporarily or permanently from specific posts on your site. URLs can be added to this list in one of three ways:

  1. You have added a URL to the Exclusion URLs Tool
  2. You have emailed our team and asked us to exclude a URL or
  3. URLs can automatically be added to the exclusion list as our bots find URLs on Google’s Policy Violation list

The reason Google may have blocked one of your URLs is that it violates their publisher policies. If Google finds a violation, the URL is first added to a block list within the ad server and then to Monumetric’s Exclusion URLs list so no ads will fill. These blocks are preventative measures because if ads fill on content that is not family-friendly or brand-safe, the entire site can be in jeopardy of being permanently blocked by Google.

If you have questions about any URLs that have been excluded, please reach out to the Monumetric team while leaving the URL excluded so your site stays compliant with Google’s policies.
