Monumetric proactively checks for ad code that is not calling our server but if you notice that ads are not displaying on your site and that previous days’ ad data is not showing in your Ad Performance dashboard, please follow the steps below or send an email to emergency@monumetric.com so we can escalate the reinstallation of your ads.
What else to check:
WordPress
If you are running a WordPress site and have ads installed on your site through the Monumetric plugin, first check the Plugins section in your WordPress backend to see if Monumetric’s has been deactivated from the changes made on your site. If you see it is set to “deactivated,” click “activate.” Next, check to see if the ad-tag widgets are still in place in the Widgets section. If they are still installed, ads will begin to load on your site. If everything is in place but you do not see ads loading, clear your website’s cache and check again. If ads are still not displaying, please send an email asking for assistance and we will quickly have our Implementation team reinstall the code.
Code on Site
On a Chrome browser, you can check what ad code is running on your site by right-clicking the page and selecting Inspect. This will bring up the Elements of the page that can be searched for Monumetric code.
To check if the head code is still on your site, use CTRL+F to search for monu.delivery in a string of code. If you see monu.delivery on the site, the head-code is still installed.
Next check for ad tags by using CTRL+F to search for mmt. to find all locations of ad code on the site. If no strings of code contain mmt., ad tags are no longer installed on the site.
