One of the most important factors impacting your revenue is the country (Geo) that your pageviews come from. The countries that have the highest value to advertisers and get the best RPMs are referred to as the Big 4; they are:
- United States (Highest Earning RPMs)
- Canada
- United Kingdom
- Australia
If the majority of your pageviews come from outside the Big 4, the value of each pageview is significantly less, depending on which country. It can help you increase revenue to create content and marketing strategies to bring in readers from the Big 4, and as you see traffic in these geos rise, your site becomes more valuable to advertisers.
Once you’ve been granted access to the Monumetric reporting console, you will see this number listed as pageview RPM.
